In 1975 Buzzer was born into a family with a Swedish mother and German father. Buzzer's family was continually involved with competitive activities. Buzzer, his mother, father and younger sister twice participated in the Vasaloppet which is a 60 mile cross-country skiing event in Sweden. Naturally, the Bihl family played a lot of different card games during Buzzers' youth.
After getting the Abitur degree in Germany, Buzzer became a banking apprentice. His specialty became stock trading. In 2002 when the Euopean stock markets were experiencing a significant decline, Buzzer became a self-employed sports bettor and arbitrageur.In May of 2004, Buzzer began his career as an online poker player. After losing big in his first month (“I thought K5o was a good starting hand”) Buzzer began to understand that poker really is a game of skill and therefore success was going to demand its price from him.Buzzer began to seriously study and practice the game of poker. He began reading poker books and watching televised poker in addition to playing online. Six weeks after Buzzer began his serious study of poker, he won a 1600 player online tournament and established himself as a premier online poker player. Buzzer confirmed that his success in the 1600 person tournament was no fluke as he won another big online tournament in the summer of 2005. Although Buzzer has experienced tremendous online tournament success, his speciality is Sit N Go play.
Whenever Buzzer feels the need for a change, he enjoys the challenge of live poker tournaments and has made several final tables including a win mainly in European Ranking Events. Although 6 years of poker experience is not much in terms of time, Buzzer calculates that during that period, he has played over 2 million hands of poker. His efforts have certainly been rewarded.
Nowadays Buzzer can mainly be found playing Sixpaks on in his favourite poker room Full Tilt Poker.
